My bag is coming! Hoorah for the Danes, who are, apparently, friendly, polite, and efficient!
Benny and Helle took me to see my kollegium, and we also went to the gigantic shopping center across the street (Field’s) to get a phone and some lunch. There were some familiar shops – some which were not expected, like Game Stop and Build-a-Bear, and some which make sense but make me quite happy – like H&M. After an eye-opening experience of a super expensive lunch, we went to look at the faculty I’ll be studying at (Humanities) and figure out where the Danish Language course would be. Neither Signalhuset (my apartment/kollegium) or the faculty are very pretty – more modern architecture, they’re on the island of Amager which is a newer area – but they’re both nice enough. And it’s a short metro ride into the city center with all my type of architecture.

Hello!!! :) First off: I looove reading about your adventures and first impressions and everything. :D It's very entertaining :). I'm going to comment more tomorrow, but I have to say now that I can't wait to be there with you :D. I still haven't got my tickets... but I will this week. I was thinking maybe I should go in the Spring when the sun sets a bit later and we can do more stuff outdoors.
ReplyDelete*hugs* I love you!
